HGV Class 1 Driver
This full-time role involves the safe and efficient transport of live poultry from farms to factories, prioritizing animal welfare and compliance with all legal and company standards.
Transport live birds, ensuring welfare and adherence to transport regulations. Complete necessary documentation, defect reports, and weigh trailers accurately. Maintain vehicle cleanliness and hygiene, including washing and disinfecting. Operate forklifts for loading/unloading where applicable. Follow health, safety, and bio-security protocols and report incidents promptly. Ensure compliance with all internal, external, and customer standards. Attend training and medical appointments as required. Possess appropriate driving licenses, CPC certification, and HGV Class 1 Licence, with at least 2 years driving experience.
