Class 1 HGV Driver – Supply Chain Operations
Pay Rate: £44,019.73 + £2,600 night shift premium Grade: RCS CA Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time, 48 hrs per week) Shift Patterns: Sunday – Thursday (15:00–23:00) Location: Burton-on-Trent, DE14 1PT

We’re now looking for a Class 1 HGV Driver to play a critical role in deliveries, logistics, and operations.
A Typical Day in This Role
- Driving safely and efficiently, is strictly in compliance with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
- Ensuring health and safety standards are met—adhering to The Highway Code, road safety rules, and vehicle regulations.
- Completing pre- and post- journey vehicle checks to maintain flawless operations.
- Executing trunking runs from breweries to key sites such as:
- Regional Distribution Centres (RDCs)
- Cash & carry depots
- Warehouse feed routes for dray operations
- Performing drop-and-swap trailer movements and occasional electric pallet truck (EPT) tipping.

Who Is This Role For?
✅ Eligibility Requirements
- Hold a valid Class 1 HGV Driving Licence (C+E).
- Must have existing Driver CPC Qualification + a Digital Tachograph Card.
- Ideally, at least 12 months of recent driving experience.
✅ Personal Attributes
- Ability to work independently and methodically.
- Time management, planning, and adaptability are key.
- Demonstrated confidence in efficiently handling assignments, including transfer operations.
