HGV Class 1 Container Day Drivers – Felixstowe (Ongoing)
We are hiring HGV Class 1 Container Day Drivers for ongoing work in Felixstowe.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles, including flatbed lorries, to deliver goods across various routes
- Plan efficient routes to meet delivery schedules while complying with legal hours and safety standards
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any issues promptly
- Secure cargo properly to ensure safe transportation
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate with dispatch teams
- Follow road safety laws and company policies during all activities
- Assist with loading/unloading when needed, adhering to proper handling procedures
- Keep vehicles clean and report maintenance needs
