HGV Class 1 Driver Days
HGV Class 1 Container Day Driver – Ongoing Role (Felixstowe)
Currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Container Day Drivers for ongoing work in Felixstowe.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles in compliance with all relevant laws and company policies
- Plan efficient routes to optimise delivery schedules
- Conduct pre-journey vehicle inspections and report any concerns
- Secure cargo and ensure correct loading
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including manifests and logs
- Assist with loading and unloading duties as required
- Ensure vehicle cleanliness and report all maintenance needs
- Follow safety protocols at all times, including security and truck support procedures

Requirements
- Proven experience as an HGV Class 1 Container Driver
- Strong knowledge of route management and logistics
- A valid HGV licence (Class 1)
- Relevant safety certifications (e.g., Driver CPC)
- Ability to perform heavy manual tasks if required
