Company Description
CUBE N SPACE is an established logistics and transport provider specializing in export packing services for a wide range of sectors. The company offers end-to-end solutions, including UK and global freight forwarding, supported by its own transport fleet. As professional export packers, CUBE N SPACE delivers made-to-measure packing solutions, case supply, and project packing for products of varied sizes and specifications, both offsite and onsite. The team works closely with clients to ensure cargo reaches its destination safely and securely via the chosen mode of transport, using fully licensed and stamped heat-treated timber.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site HGV Class 1 Driver role based in Widnes. The driver will be responsible for safely operating Class 1 vehicles to transport goods to and from customer sites, ports, and warehouses as part of export packing and freight forwarding operations. Daily tasks include:

- Completing vehicle checks
- Loading and securing cargo in line with company standards
- Following all transport and safety regulations
- Maintaining accurate delivery records
- Working closely with the logistics and warehouse teams to coordinate schedules
- Representing the company professionally at customer locations

The driver may also assist with basic packing or handling tasks as needed to support end-to-end service delivery.
Qualifications
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) license, up-to-date Driver CPC, and a clean or acceptable driving record.
- Proven experience driving Class 1 vehicles in logistics, transport, or freight forwarding environments.
- Strong knowledge of UK road transport regulations, driver hours, and health and safety best practices.
- Ability to safely load, secure, and handle a range of cargo types, with attention to detail and care.
- Good communication and teamwork skills for coordinating with dispatch, warehouse, and customer contacts.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexibly to meet operational schedules and deadlines.
- Basic understanding of export processes, packing, or global freight forwarding is an advantage.
- Experience working with transport documentation and delivery notes; ability to keep accurate records.
- Right to work in the UK and willingness to comply with all company policies and procedures.
