HGV Class 1 Driver - Nights
Class 1 Licence Holder – Transport Team Driver (Booker Retail Partner Site)
About the Role
- Overtime opportunities available
- Fully funded CPC training hours provided
- Responsible for the safe delivery of stock to independent retailer stores
- Requires handballing and manual work, physically demanding, including working outside in adverse weather conditions
Responsibilities
- Deliver products to customer locations, including handling loads and utilising manual techniques
- Preferable experience with multi-drop and temperature-controlled food deliveries, though not mandatory
- Routes vary daily – applicants must demonstrate flexibility with hours and shift timings (including last-minute changes)
Requirements
- Holds a valid Class 1 Licence
- Must have completed Driver CPC
- Proven track record of excellent customer service
- Ability to adapt to demands associated with fast-paced logistics environments
