HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driver
📍 Location: Tamworth, Staffordshire 💰 Pay Rate: £18.00 – £21.00 per hour 📅 Job Type: Full-Time | Ongoing | Temporary to Permanent Opportunities Available 🕒 Shift Pattern: Days & Nights Available
🚛 About the Role
Looking for a Class 1 driving role with regular work, excellent rates of pay, and flexible day or night shifts? Drivers Today is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for ongoing work based in Tamworth, Staffordshire.
Immediate starts available with a busy transport operation offering:
- General haulage and trunking work
- RDC deliveries and collections
- Local, regional, and nationwide routes
- Day and night shifts available (Monday to Friday, with weekend work also available)
- Modern tractor units and trailers

✅ Responsibilities
- Operate HGV Class 1 (C+E) vehicles safely and efficiently
- Complete general haulage and trunking work
- Deliver and collect goods via RDC
- Travel across local, regional, and nationwide routes
- Maintain high standards in customer service
- Drive on day or night shifts as required
🔍 Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
- Driver CPC Qualification Card
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous Class 1 driving experience (preferred)
- Maximum of 6 penalty points on driving licence
- Professional, reliable, and safety-conscious attitude
- Excellent customer service skills
