Pertemps Southampton are looking for a Evening HGV Class 1 Shunter to start a permanent contract with our Client in Totton ASAP!
You will be responsible for:
- Manoeuvring trailers around the yard
- Reversing into the warehouse at the end of the night
- Helping load trailers and strapping loads
- Using a Forklift Counterbalance to load vehicles

Salary
£40,000 p.a. PAYE
Shifts
16:00 - 01:00
5 shifts per Sun/Mon/Tues/Wed/Thurs
Requirements
Role requires Candidates to have a baseline of physical fitness due to the manual handling when not driving.
All Candidates must have:
- Valid UK Driving Licence (Max. 6pts)
- Valid HGV Class 1 Qualification (6 months experience desired)
- Forklift Counterbalance (desired, but training can be provided)
- Valid CPC/Digi Tacho
- Safety Boots & High Vis
