Role Description

You’ll be delivering temporary accommodation units to construction sites across the region for a well-established, family-run construction business. The work is varied, regional (no nights away), and team-based:

  • Driving the HGV to site, working as part of a convoy — never on your own, always with backup
  • Operating the lorry-mounted HIAB crane to load and unload units on site

Pay & Benefits

  • £20 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay) while on temp-to-perm — that’s a realistic £46,000+ per year at standard hours, before overtime

What We Need From You

  • HGV Class 1 (C+E) — full UK manual
  • Valid CPC and Tacho card
  • No more than 6 points on your licence
  • Strong customer service and communication skills — you’ll be on customer sites every day
  • Comfortable with manual handling alongside crane-assisted lifting
  • Class 1 Unlimited HIAB ticket
  • A genuine interest in building a long-term career with one employer

  • Location: Caxton / Bedford
  • Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 5:00pm
  • Pay: £20/hr (incl. holiday pay) — temp-to-perm
  • Type: Temp-to-Perm, leading to permanent
