HGV Class 1 Night Driver
HGV Class 1 Night Drivers – Full-Time, Permanent Roles
Location: Barton Hill depot
Salary: OTE £39,000 per year (55 hours/week, including meal allowance)
We are seeking experienced HGV Class 1 Night Drivers for full-time, permanent roles at our Barton Hill depot.
About the Role
Premium remuneration for operating night trunking routes across the UK while maintaining safe freight transport and strict adherence to safety and driver regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform regular vehicle checks
- Secure freight and ensure cargo integrity
- Maintain accurate documentation on a daily basis
- Scan and complete digital tachograph requirements
- Return to the depot after shifts

Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
- Valid CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence)
- Digital Tachograph Card
- At least 1 year of experience (preferred)
Hours, Shifts & Conditions
- Main Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday (with occasional weekend work)
- Average Weekly Hours: 55 (including 11-hour shifts)
- Flexibility: Potential overtime opportunities
