Are you an experienced Class 2 HGV Driver looking for a rewarding opportunity? Join a family-owned chemical manufacturing company based in Essex and be a vital part of our reliable and dependable service. My client supplies over 1 million tonnes of specialist chemicals in bulk to various industries, including water treatment, galvanizers, food manufacturers, detergent manufacturers, and more.
They prioritize health and safety, vehicle and driver compliance, and are seeking a skilled and safety-minded individual to fill the role of Class 2 HGV Driver at their West Thurrock site.
Key Accountabilities:
- Safely and efficiently transport specialist chemicals in bulk to our valued customers;
- Ensure compliance with ADR;
- Demonstrate sound knowledge of geography and the UK road networks;
- Ensure PPE is worn correctly and appropriately;
- Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues;
- Be responsible for not exceeding your Driver’s Hours;
- Ensure work is always undertaken to the highest standard.

Experience & Qualifications:
- ADR experience and knowledge (Class 8 & 9 required).
- DCPC Qualification (required).
- Maximum of 6 points on your license;
- Positively represent ICL to our customers and suppliers;
- Ensure compliance with all contractual employment obligations;
- Ensure compliance with our ISO standards;
- Fully participate in the company's performance management and development programmes;
- Work in accordance with the Company's Human Resources policies and procedures;
- Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements at all times.

- Shifted Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend requirements (overtime paid at £23.72 per hour on overtime shifts);
