Pay: £14.71 per hour (40-hour week)

About the Role

Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Comply with all company training and safety protocols to ensure competence in driving and operational tasks.
- Load, transport, and unload waste materials efficiently in line with contract specifications.
- Maintain high standards of vehicle and equipment cleanliness to ensure professional and safe working conditions.
- Strictly adhere to health and safety policy—report accidents, near misses, and hazards without delay.
- Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE) for tasks as directed.
- Represent Veolia professionally at all times, demonstrating strong customer service skills.
- Uphold legislation and company values at all stages of your duties.
Requirements
Essential:
- A valid HGV Class 2 licence for the applicable vehicle grade.
- Up-to-date Driver CPC card and operator licence (if required).
- Training in vehicle operation and relevant equipment usage.
- Medically fit to perform the physical demands of this role.
- Safe and responsible driving experience.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
- A customer-focused mindset to engage effectively with stakeholders.
