HGV Driver – Carrickfergus Warehouse
Location: Carrickfergus, Northern Ireland Package: £37,000 – £38,000 per annum
About the Role
PPG are a global leader in protective and decorative coatings, founded in 1882 with trusted brands like Johnstone’s and Leyland Paint. We’re seeking an HGV Driver (Class 2) to join our Carrickfergus team, supporting customer deliveries from our local warehouse.

A Day in the Life
As a HGV Class 2 Driver, you’ll handle deliveries with autonomy and professionalism. Key responsibilities include:
- Customer deliveries: Servicing Ireland-wide accounts
- Fixed start times: Between 04:00–08:00AM each working day
- Pre-use inspections and regulatory compliance (Working Time Directive)
- Vehicle replenishment for the following day’s route
- One overnight stay per week (compensatory leave granted for full shifts)
Requirements
To apply, you must have:
- Valid HGV Class 2 license
- Preferred: Experience in multi-drop deliveries
- Customer-service mindset – relatable, professional, and approachable
- Flexibility for early shifts and occasional overnight stays
