HGV Class 2 Driver
FM Conway is seeking a skilled HGV Class 2 Driver to join our dedicated Water and Drainage Management team.
About the Role
In this vital role, you’ll help protect communities and keep essential infrastructure running smoothly. Working as part of a two-person crew, you’ll be at the front line of drainage operations, including:
- Drain cleaning and clearance
- Repair and maintenance work
- Using specialised vehicles and equipment to ensure water flows freely through drainage systems.
This is a full-time, permanent role based in Cheshire.
Responsibilities
The duties of the HGV Class 2 Driver role include:
- Carrying out drainage services, such as high-pressure water jetting (HPWJ) to inspect, clean, and maintain drainage networks.
- Responding to drainage issues and emergency callouts to tackle blockages, overflows, and urgent problems.
- Supporting planned and reactive maintenance, including clearing, cleaning, and repairing drainage systems.
- Accurately recording and reporting all work carried out, identifying and flagging additional issues.
- Using an app-based reporting system to update job progress, upload photos/videos, and communicate with the team.

Requirements
- A valid Class 2 HGV licence
- A valid Driver CPC
- A reliable, committed attitude
- A strong commitment to health and safety
- Previous drainage experience is preferred (not essential—training provided if suitable)
