HGV Class 2 Driver / IPAF Operator

Driver / Operator – Specialist Vehicle Mount Division

Excellent opportunity for an experienced Driver to upskill in our industry-leading fleet

As a Driver/Operator in our Specialist Vehicle Mount Division, you’ll drive and operate cutting-edge vehicle-mounted access equipment to support a wide range of high-profile clients. Your role will be varied—from technical set-ups at sporting events, film sets, and window cleaning at height, to enabling live broadcasts or construction projects.

Good customer service skills are essential, along with an HGV Class 2 licence. Full training in equipment operation is provided as part of this role.

About the Role

This is a highly flexible position with no fixed shift pattern—evenings and weekends are common, reflecting the diverse needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive and operate truck-mounted mobile elevation platforms on-site safely and efficiently.
  • Set up machinery, adhering to training, operator manuals, and safety regulations.
  • Maintain cleanliness of vehicles and equipment.
  • Act as our customer-facing ambassador, ensuring polite, professional service.
  • Report maintenance needs and complete all required paperwork.
  • Liaise with depot staff on customer queries.
  • Ensure all required tests and thorough examination reports are up-to-date.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to top-tier customer service.
  • Holds an HGV Class 2 licence.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, high-flexibility environment, including working some nights/weekends.
  • Possesses a comfortable attitude towards working at heights.
