More Details
HGV Class 2 Driver Operative required for a specialist line marking and surface treatment role working across Devon and the wider South West.
This is a hands-on role for a Category C Driver who is comfortable doing more than driving. You will drive Class 2 vehicles to the site, then work as part of an operational crew supporting practical outdoor site work.
This role would suit someone with previous Class 2 experience, a valid CSCS card and a flexible approach to days, nights, weekends and occasional nights away.
About The Role
This job is not a driving-only position.
You will be working on different sites across the region, helping with line marking and surface treatment projects. The work involves driving, loading, unloading, preparing equipment and carrying out physical duties on site.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
