We are looking for experienced and proactive Class 2 drivers to expand our team of dedicated staff!

The Role

  • To drive our company vehicles in a safe and professional manner
  • To collect and deliver various sizes of skips and containers across our local areas
  • To complete documented pre-use checks on the vehicle and report any issues identified
  • To liaise and communicate effectively with customers, members of the public and various site functions
  • To represent the company in an appropriate and professional manner
  • To complete the daily work schedule in line with the customer and company objectives

What You Need

  • Valid Class 2 category driving licence
  • Proven working experience as a HGV driver, with a good driving record and no traffic violations
  • Able to work proactively, independently and on own initiative in a fast-paced, high-volume operation
  • Previous experience working as a HGV driver in the waste industry would be advantageous; however, full training will be provided if you do not have this
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Reliability, punctuality and good levels of attendance are a must

The Package

  • Starting pay £35,490 per annum
  • 48.75 hours per week, Mon to Fri 6.30am-5.15pm
  • Alternate Saturdays 7am-12.30pm, paid as extra
  • Full training on our vehicles provided, with incremental increases offered on completion of training
