HGV Class 2 Drivers Wanted – Secure Long-Term Work in Stoke-on-Trent
Location: Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire (ST1, ST2, ST3, ST4, ST5, ST6)
Pay Rate: £17.00 – £19.00 per hour PAYE (including holiday pay) Ltd company drivers welcome
Job Type: Full-Time | Ongoing | Temporary to Permanent Opportunities Available
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday | Day shifts | Early starts
The Role
- HGV Class 2 (Category C) Driver
- Palletised deliveries & collections
- Curtain-sided vehicles
- ✅ Forklifted on – forklifted off
- ❌ No handball
- Local & regional deliveries to commercial locations
- Immediate starts available
About the Role
Drivers Today are recruiting for experienced HGV Class 2 (Category C) Drivers to join a busy pallet distribution operation based in Stoke-on-Trent. Working with a professional transport company, you’ll operate modern curtain-sided vehicles for reliable, long-term work with opportunities for permanent employment.

Responsibilities
- Operate a curtain-sided vehicle for deliveries and collections
- Load/unload pallets (forklift assisted)
- Complete local and regional deliveries with efficiency and safety
- Adhere to shift schedule (Monday–Friday, day shifts)
Requirements
- HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence
- Valid Driver CPC
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Preferred:
- Previous Class 2 driving experience
- Strong customer service skills
- Maximum of 6 penalty points
- Must be reliable, professional & safety-minded
