Job Title: HGV Class 2 Driver
Location: Based in Belvedere, DA17 6BG. Applicants that do not live within a reasonable travelling distance to the Operating Centre will not be considered for the role.
Salary: GBP40K + per year depending on experience

About The Role
As part of our professional driving team, you'll operate a range of specialist HGV Class 2 vehicles across London and the surrounding areas, supporting commercial, construction, waste and recycling operations.

You'll play a key role in the safe and efficient collection, transportation and delivery of waste, recycling materials and associated equipment, while maintaining high standards of customer service, compliance, road safety and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and professionally operate specialist HGV Class 2 vehicles
- Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly
- Ensure loads are secured and transported in line with company procedures
- Provide excellent customer service on-site and at customer locations
- Follow all driving regulations, health and safety procedures, and environmental standards
- Complete any required paperwork and records accurately
- Work closely with transport planners, site teams and management to ensure smooth daily operations

- Roll On Roll Off (RoRo) vehicles
- Mini RoRo vehicles
- Skip lorries
- Dustcarts
- Tipper vehicles
- Cage vehicles
- Articulated vehicles
- Specialist waste and recycling equipment
This fleet variety gives drivers the chance to gain experience across multiple vehicle types and specialist waste and recycling operations.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for drivers who:
- Hold a valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Hold a valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Have a good knowledge of London and surrounding areas
- Take pride in vehicle safety, cleanliness and presentation
- Work professionally with customers, site staff and colleagues
- Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Are reliable, punctual and detail-focused
- Are committed to working safely and maintaining high operational standards
