HGV Class 2 Driver – Ongoing Work

Join a leading household bread brand in Warrington as a HGV Class 1 Driver!

Location & Job Type

  • Location: WA3 (Warrington)
  • Type: Full-Time, Ongoing/Long-Term

Pay & Benefits

  • Salary: £17.00 - £20.00 per hour
  • All-inclusive rates offered
  • All PAYE payroll system—no LTD (Loss of Licence insurance costs)

The Hours

  • Early starts (completion by lunch time)
  • Shift Pattern: 5 days a week, including weekends
  • Duration: Minimum 8-hour shifts
  • Overtime available if required

The Role

  • Perform 15-25 deliveries per shift (minimum benchmark)
  • Drop-off deliveries to supermarkets and grocery retailers
  • Assistance with unloading (using basket trolleys in teamwork)
  • No complex tasks—primarily straightforward delivery duties

Requirements

To qualify for this HGV Class 2 Driver role, you must have:

  • LCV (Light Commercial Vehicle) Class 2 licence
  • Valid Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence)
  • A Digital Tachograph card
  • A clean driving record:
    • Maximum of 6 points (no DD, DR, IN endorsements)
  • Strong geographical awareness of the UK’s routes
  • Proven punctuality and reliability
