The role
The HGV Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of bulk commodities and liquids between Dyson Farming sites, internal stores, and customers. The role supports a year-round harvesting operation and requires flexibility, strong organisational skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, vehicle care, and operational performance.

Key responsibilities:
- Transport bulk commodities and liquids from Dyson Farming sites to internal stores and customers.
- Work flexibly to meet operational requirements, including varying start and finish times and weekend working.
- Manage daily workload under the direction of the Transport Manager while complying with all applicable working time legislation.
- Demonstrate a proactive approach to health, safety, and compliance.
- Complete all required paperwork accurately, professionally, and within required timescales.
- Weigh products in and out of store and ensure delivery deadlines are met.
- Carry out routine vehicle checks and ensure vehicles are maintained in a safe and roadworthy condition.
- Coordinate effectively with the Farming and AD teams to support efficient haulage operations.
- Maintain Dyson Farming vehicles to a high standard of cleanliness and presentation, both internally and externally.
- Comply with the Dyson Farming Driver Handbook, report defects promptly, and undertake any additional haulage or driving duties as required.

Requirements
Essential:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar HGV driving role.
- Experience and knowledge of tipping operations.
- Current UK driving licence with full CE entitlement.
- Valid Driver CPC qualification.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
- Good understanding of health and safety requirements within a transport environment.
