About The Role

You will be based at our Knowsley Depot, Woodward Road, Knowsley Industrial Estate, Kirkby, Liverpool, L33 7UZ.

  • Salary: £35,467.85 per year
  • Bonus: £13.36 daily compliance bonus (paid monthly)
  • Hours: Monday – Friday, including Bank Holidays and occasional weekends
  • Shift: 04:00 – 13:45 (45-minute unpaid break)
  • Contract: Full-time
  • Overtime: Enhanced rates
  • PPE: Provided

About the role

As an LGV Driver Class 2 in Knowsley, you’ll help deliver essential waste and recycling services that keep communities clean and support a circular economy. Your work has a direct environmental impact reducing landfill, conserving resources and contributing to a greener UK.

What Will I Be Doing

  • Safely drive and operate LGV Class 2 vehicles for commercial waste and recycling collections
  • Deliver reliable, friendly customer service at collection sites
  • Follow all Health & Safety, environmental and compliance standards
  • Complete daily vehicle checks and basic paperwork accurately
  • Work collaboratively within a supportive and inclusive team

What We’re Looking For

  • Valid LGV Class 2 licence and Driver CPC card
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
  • Commitment to safety, sustainability and teamwork
  • Ability to start early shifts and work occasional weekends

Advantageous (training Provided)

  • Experience in waste/recycling or RoRo vehicles
