Location: Manchester – With 3–4 nights out per week

About the Role
Based in Manchester, your responsibilitieswill include operating as part of a team alongside engineers, supporting major oil companies and independent customers in the Forecourt Services division. Your work focuses on ensuring operational systems remain compliant with Environment Agency (EA) guidelines, delivering technical solutions to resolve issues.
Key Responsibilities
- -site tankering operations:
- Perform and deliver jetting, drain cleaning, interceptor cleaning, and servicing for petrol filling stations and distribution centres
- Operate within a one- or two-person team
- Emergency response:
- Respond to critical call-outs for fault diagnostics, servicing, and repairs
- Safety & compliance:
- Carry out Near Miss and potential incident reporting as required
- Ensuring compliance with EA regulations, including manual maintenance of drainage and tank systems
- Customer liaison:
- Engage with customers to discuss ongoing projects, discuss future services
- Workplace management:
- Maintain a clean vehicle and PPE/tool readiness
- Report any damages promptly to supervision
- Timely submission of work paperwork
- Continuous improvement:
- Collaborate with supervision on opportunity identification and process enhancements

Requirements
- Essential:
- Valid HGV license
- C1/C+E endorsement preferred (not essential, but desirable)
- Reliability and commitment to working 3–4 nights per week
- Valid HGV license
- Desirable:
- Prior knowledge of forecourt tankering or drainage systems, though full training will be provided.
- Other:
- Willingness to adapt to projects across the UK (predominantly southern England)
- Key priority: Trainability and openness to develop new skills within our environmental services division.
