HGV Driver
HGV Operator (Drainage) – Bamber Bridge, Preston
We are seeking a skilled and motivated HGV Operator (Drainage) to join our Depot in Bamber Bridge, Preston. This role involves identifying defects and blockages within the sewer network and using high-pressure water jetting to clean and clear such issues.
About the Role
- Location: Bamber Bridge, Preston
- Hours: Monday to Friday – 40 hours per week
- Salary: Up to £15.50 per hour (DOE)

Key Responsibilities
As an HGV Operator (Drainage), your duties include:
- Working closely in a team of 2 operating high-specification jetting and vacuumation units (full training provided).
- Operating high-pressure water jetting equipment to:
- Clean and clear blockages in drains, sewers, pipes, and wastewater systems (full training provided).
- Liaising with customers.
- Updating electronic records for inspection/logging purposes.
- Ensuring safety issues are fully documented and reported.
- Conducting vehicle and jetting equipment maintenance checks.

Experience & Qualifications
Required: ✅ HGV Class 2 licence (with no more than 6 penalty points, ideally none).
Desirable: 🔹 Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) for proof of competence. 🔹 Valid CSCS card (if not held, company will support attainment).
