About The Role

HGV Driver – Refuse Driver

Location: Braintree, Essex Contract Type: Temporary, on-going Hours Per Week: 37 Pay Rate: £15.69 PAYE / £20.09 (Umbrella)

We’re looking for a reliable and motivated Refuse Driver to become a key part of our waste and recycling operations. If you take pride in keeping communities clean, enjoy working outdoors, and have a steady hand behind the wheel, this role could be a perfect fit.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive collection vehicles safely and efficiently on scheduled routes
  • Lead a small crew to ensure timely waste and recycling collection
  • Carry out vehicle checks and report any issues promptly
  • Provide great service to residents and businesses
  • Work outdoors in all weather as part of a supportive team

What We’re Looking For

  • A valid HGV Class 2 licence with CPC
  • A safe, responsible driving record
  • A team-focused attitude and good communication skills
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic
  • Ability to support loaders when needed
