Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Hours of Work: 7.30am and 4pm Monday to Thursday, 7:30am and 3:45pm Friday
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated HGV Driver to join our team in Burton, DE14 1PT.
The HGV Driver will deliver roof trusses to construction sites and builders’ merchants. They will be responsible for the safe, timely transport and unloading of roof trusses, ensuring deliveries are made to specification and in line with health and safety guidelines.
What you’ll be doing as a HGV Driver:
Focussing on load security & highway laws and drive safely and lawfully while making deliveries.
Driving efficiently to delivery destinations and in reasonable time, working safely to achieve the expected daily number of deliveries as appropriate.

Supervising the offload of goods at the destination yourself and/or with onsite personnel, and/or onsite personnel-operated plant.
Providing a prompt, polite, helpful, and professional service to customers at the delivery destination, always promoting a positive company image.
Your Skills:
Class 2 (Category C) rigid licence with DQC card and full Driver CPC is essential.
Fork-lift licence would be an advantage.
Hiab Experience Preferable But Not Essential.
Excellent customer service skills.
A flexible approach to work, there is an element of manual offloading required.
