About the Role
DHL Supply Chain is the world’s leading logistics company. We’re looking for a Class 1 HGV Driver to deliver aftermarket vehicle products to multiple locations across the South East, adhering to our clients’ specific guidelines.
This role ensures our operations run smoothly and efficiently. As a Class 1 HGV Driver, you’ll play a vital part in delivering goods safely and on time, operating under EU Tachograph regulations and maintaining high safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Daily Tasks & Duties
- Operate in compliance with Working Time Directive and EU Tachograph hours.
- Adhere to health and safety policies and follow operational training.
- Represent DHL professionally, maintaining courtesy toward customers and the public.
- Follow customer-specific procedures while operating on client premises.
- Conduct routine vehicle checks (OPS13 documentation) at shift start and walk-around checks if the vehicle is unattended.

Person Specification
🔹 Essential Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C)
- Driver CPC Qualification
- Digital Tachograph Card
- 12 months of recent HGV driving experience
🔹 Desirable Skills & Experience
- Familiarity with local geographical area (South East)
- Ability to follow procedures and safety rules
- Strong attention to directions and instructions
- Willingness to assist with product handling (includes bending, lifting, and reaching in line with H&S regulations)
