HGV Driver Class 2

HGV Driver (Class 2) – High Wycombe

Working Hours

Monday – Friday: 7:30am – 5:00pm Every other Saturday: 8:00am – 12:00pm (~44.5 hours per week, no evenings or overnight shifts!)

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver building materials from our branch to local customers safely and efficiently.
  • Load your vehicle using the HIAB, ensuring secure and legal packing.
  • Conduct ~14 daily drops while maintaining a professional image on the road.
  • Return to the branch for quick reloading when required.

Requirements

  • Valid Class 2 (HGV) licence (no endorsements).
  • Up-to-date CPC records.
  • Holds a Category B licence for 12+ months.
  • (Ascend HIAB training will be covered!)
  • Customer-focused and professional with excellent communication skills.
  • Safety-first mindset—prioritise compliance in every task.
