Key Responsibilities
- Operate a Class 2 vehicle safely, adhering to all road safety regulations, traffic laws and company procedures.
- Deliver goods and materials to scheduled locations on time.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks, reporting any defects immediately.
- Secure and safely strap loads according to legal standards.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including logs, mileage records and incident reports.
- Provide professional customer service and assist with delivery-related queries.
- Uphold safety standards, follow hours-of-service rules and comply with Health & Safety (H&S) policies.
- Coordinate with warehouse, logistics and planning teams to optimise operations.
- Follow the company Health & Safety and Environment procedures, as well as driver handbook requirements.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in daily processes.

Requirements & Experience
- UK Driving Licence Category C
- Valid, up-to-date UK Driver Qualification Card (DQC)
- Exceptional navigation skills with a strong working knowledge of UK road networks
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Experience in securely strapping loads (safe and legal practices)
- Flexibility to work nights as required
- Willingness to occasionally work overtime and Saturday mornings.
