HGV Driver – Class 2 – Stafford

We are seeking a reliable and skilled HGV Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in driving rigid vehicles and a strong commitment to safety and efficiency. This role involves transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely deliveries. Newly qualified drivers are invited to apply. You will be allocated your own vehicle. No weekends.
Nights out, or Tramping if preferred (which attracts an additional allowance)
Duties
- Operate HGV vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Ensuring loads are safe for transportation.
- Communicate effectively with clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transit.
- Follow all safety protocols to minimise risks on the road and at delivery sites.

Skills
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role within commercial driving.
- Strong driving skills with a valid driving licence.
- Excellent time management abilities to ensure timely deliveries.
- Good communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and professionalism at all times.
