Eventor (Part of the Culina Group) is a leading name in event specialist logistics. Our expertise spans motorsport, music, exhibitions, and the nuclear sector, covering transportation, build, maintenance, and storage of bespoke event equipment.


About the Role

Join our specialist events logistics team! We’re seeking experienced HGV drivers (minimum 12 months behind the wheel) with a thirst for adventure. Offering backstage access to Formula 1 events across Europe, opportunities for international assignments, and diverse UK haulage duties outside the racing season—this is a role that Brody beyond the ordinary.

Responsibilities

Formula 1 Season (Trackside Operations)

Transport & Logistics

  • Transport high-value cargo across the UK and Europe to support the full F1 calendar
  • Operate HGV vehicles carrying specialist event equipment under time-sensitive constraints and extended travel periods
  • Ensure all vehicles and trailers meet safety, compliance, and roadworthiness standards
  • Conduct thorough loading/unloading activities and securely fasten all cargo to industry guidelines

Trackside Setup & Build

  • Participate in race base, hospitality unit, and tyre fitting construction, ensuring precision
  • Mark out build areas, lay and level grids, and install structural components
  • Perform cleaning, maintenance, and interior setup of furniture and decor—maintaining show-ready standards

Event-Time Duties

  • Provide hospitality support (customer service, cleaning, kitchen assistance, front-of-house tasks)
  • Complete maintenance duties to uphold stringent high standards
  • Adapt to unexpected work schedules with flexibility and efficiency

Pack Down & Departure

  • Dismantle build structures for transport
  • Coordinate lifting, loading, and securing of pods, equipment, and trailers
  • Maintain fleet appearance—ensuring immaculate inside and out fleet cleanliness

Outside the Formula One Season (General Haulage)

  • UK haulage duties including delivery collections, manual handling, branch deliveries
  • Drop and swap, trunking, and priority load management across multiple sectors

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Full Class 1 HGV licence (minimum 12 months practical experience)
  • Flexible availability for overseas assignments (up to 14 consecutive weeks’ travel)

Skills & Traits

  • Strong teamwork & communication—emergency problem-solving
  • Proactive mindset, independent critical thinking, and spot-on attention to detail
  • Physical stamina to perform multiple duties—construction, hospitality, or maintenance (and off-road emergencies)
  • Beneficial skills include:
    • Trade experience (carpentry, plumbing, electrical)
    • Light engineering/building
    • Working with forklifts, telehandlers, and tyre fitting
    • Previous international driving, LHD experience

Rates & Allowances

Event Season Pay

  • Events Crew Rates

    • Night/day shift: £125 per day
    • Rest day: £100 per day
  • Allowances (night out zzl meal benefits in UK and worldwide)

    • Europe/Global events: £47/day (tax-free)
    • UK (excluding Silverstone): £40/day (tax-free)

-night-day travel/fleet maintenance allowances apply— intérieur visits!

General Haulage Rates

  • Hourly rate based on shift location, and depot policies—adjusted annually.

Additionally:

  • Retention Bonus for extended tenure with Eventor.
