Requirements
Essential:
- Valid driver’s licence with 3 points or fewer
- Strong understanding of EU & WTD Tachograph Regulations and Operator Licence obligations
- In-depth knowledge of highway regulations and the UK Highway Code
- Ability to operate safely across mainland UK
- A proactive, safety-first mindset with high integrity and professionalism
- Flexibility to meet shifting operational demands

Key Responsibilities
Safe Transport & Logistics:
- Securely collect and deliver waste materials (including hazardous items like batteries, oil, filters, and plastics)
Vehicle Maintenance:
- Complete daily pre- and post-use safety checks
- Keep vehicle clean and report faults promptly
Compliance Adherence:
- Strict compliance with traffic legislation, tachograph requirements, and ADR regulations
Customer Interaction:
- Act as a key on-site representative for Enva
- Guide customers on waste storage and communicate requirements to line managers
Safety Protocol:
- Instant reporting of near misses or hazards
- Full adherence to Enva and customer site health and safety standards

Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have: ✅ Strong communication and interpersonal skills ✅ Highly organized, with precision for detail ✅ Strong problem-solving ability ✅ Ability to resolve on-site complaints or conflicts with professionalism
Desirable (Plus Points): 🔹 Experience in the waste or recycling industry 🔹 ADR Certification
