Job Details
- Location: Sudbury, CO10 2XH
- Salary: £34,608 per annum + excellent benefits
- Working Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday–Friday, 6.30am–3pm), with occasional Saturday work and Bank Holidays
About the Role
As an HGV Refuse & Recycling Driver / Loader in our Suffolk team, you’ll provide a complete waste and recycling service for residents and businesses in Sudbury.
With a professional, dedicated, and friendly team, we ensure streets, homes, and businesses remain clean, safe, and tidy—while delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive a pre-planned route as a team with loaders, collecting waste and recycling from residential and commercial properties.
- Act as the public face of Serco’s Environmental Services team, representing our commitment to the community.
- Perform vehicle safety checks and ensure trucks are clean and operational before setting out.
Ideal Candidate Profile
You’ll thrive in this role if you:
- Hold a valid Class C driving licence (we accept C1 & Driver CPC).
- Are hardworking and able to meet daily targets.
- Stay physically fit and healthy (this role requires physical demands).
- Bring enthusiasm, a smile, and a commitment to excellence.
