**HGV Refuse and Recycling Driver – Rushmoor, Ash Vale (GU12 5QF)
Location & Hours
- Location: Ash Vale, GU12 5QF
- Hours: 40 per week (Monday to Friday, 6:30am – 3:00pm)
- Salary: £35,369.91 per annum + excellent benefits
About the Role

Join our Rushmoor team as a HGV Refuse and Recycling Driver and play a vital role in keeping your community clean, safe, and sustainable.
Working alongside a professional and friendly team, you’ll deliver a full waste and recycling service to local residents and businesses. Your efforts will help maintain high standards across the community while providing excellent customer service every step of the way.
Key responsibilities include:
- Completing a pre-planned route as the driver, working alongside a team of loaders to collect waste and recycling from residential homes and commercial properties.
- Representing Serco as the public face of the company in the community.
- Ensuring vehicle safety checks are conducted daily, and that the truck is clean and operational before starting rounds.
In addition to driving the lorry, you’ll actively collaborate with loaders—staying physically engaged to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

You’ll be a great fit for this role if you:
- Hold a valid Class 1 or 2 driving licence and a Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).
- Are physically fit and healthy—this is essential due to the nature of the work.
