Location: Stowmarket, IP14 5AP Salary: £34,608 per annum + excellent benefits Working hours: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday 6.30am - 3pm with occasional Saturday work & Bank Holidays.

As a HGV Refuse & Recycling Driver/Loader in our Suffolk team, you'll provide a complete waste and recycling service on behalf of the residents and community in Stowmarket.
With a professional, dedicated, and friendly team of Refuse Collection staff, we ensure that streets, homes and businesses are kept clean, safe and tidy, whilst providing the very best levels of customer service to all members of the community that we serve. You’ll be entrusted to: • You will set off on a pre-planned route as the driver with your team of Loaders you are working with collecting waste and recycling from residential homes and commercial properties. • You will be the public face of Serco’s Environmental Services team in the community. • Before setting out on your rounds, you will ensure that your vehicle safety checks are completed and that your truck is clean and work ready. You’ll be a great fit for this role if you... • Hold a valid Class C driving licence, though we can accept C1 & Driver CPC • Hard working • Physically fit and healthy due to the nature of the business • Hold plenty of enthusiasm and a big smile • Be willing to go the extra mile whilst on your rounds to enable your team to hit their targets. • Team player
