HGV Driver – Petersfield
Do you have an HGV 2 licence and want to use it to help the public by carrying out council duties? This role provides an opportunity to work in a team of 3-5 drivers (colleagues) to collect bins in Petersfield and the surrounding areas. As the driver of the team, you'll play a key role in this essential service.
Shift Information
- Hours: 6:30am – 3:00pm (Paid for the full day; flexible end time based on duty completion)
- Days: Monday to Friday
- Location: Players are located around Petersfield and surrounding areas
- Rate: £17.88 per hour
- Overtime rate: £26.82 per hour

Responsibilities
- Driving HGV bin lorries across designated routes
- Assisting team members in collecting/recycling bins when required
- Reporting incidents, damage or malfunctions to supervisors
- Knowing and following geographical locations and stop-off points

Requirements
- Valid HGV 2 licence
- Digital Tacho card (in good standing)
- Appropriate safety footwear (e.g. steel-toed boots)
- No more than 6 penalty points on driving licence
