About the Role

Hough Green Garage is a market-leading provider of 24/7 Breakdown and Recovery services, supporting Local Authorities, Emergency Services, Motoring Organisations, and private companies nationwide for over 40 years.

Due to continued growth and new contracts, we are now recruiting 7.5T Recovery Drivers, Class 2 Recovery Drivers, and Heavy Recovery Drivers (Class 1).

This is a fast-paced, varied role with no two days the same. Ideal for motivated, adaptable individuals who thrive under pressure, work confidently independently, and provide a professional, efficient service to customers.

While much of the role is carried out alone, every interaction gives you the chance to offer reassurance and support under challenging circumstances. With empathy, resilience, and technical expertise, you’ll help people navigate stress—whether safely recovering a vehicle, transporting it to the garage, or getting members back on the road.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
