Experienced HGV Driver (Waste & Aggregates) – Critical Vacancy
We are seeking experienced HGV drivers with waste and aggregates knowledge to operate vehicles including bulkers, skips, tippers, and grab lorries.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring legal compliance with:
- Driver hours regulations (CPC & tachograph logs)
- Vehicle roadworthiness and MOT compliance
- Health & safety standards (COSHH, manual handling, hazard reporting)
- Maintaining communication with the traffic office and completing accurate paperwork (load manifests, tachograph reports, incident logs)
- Prompt incident reporting and adherence to safety protocols to safeguard company assets, customer interests, and public welfare

Ideal Candidate Criteria
The perfect fit will:
- Hold a valid Class 2 HGV licence, CPC card, and Digitrac (digicard) approved*
- Have prior experience driving similar vehicles, preferably in the waste or construction sectors
- Demonstrate attention to detail, strong teamwork ethos, and exemplary communication & customer service skills
- Commit to continuous professional development via in-house training programmes
