HGV Supervisor - Days
We are looking for a Supervisor to lead the team of HGV Tanker Drivers to work across the Sussex Region. You will be responsible for ensuring that the work is carried out efficiently in line the Waste Contract. The work incorporates tankering various non-hazardous liquids from sites to disposal facilities across the regions.

Hours:
4 days on 4 days off
Salary:
Depending on experience (including over time if available and on call bonus)
Location:
Goddards Green (Sussex)
Responsibilities - but not limited to:
- Ensure all engineers are compliant with PPE & Company policy's standards
- Supporting engineers on the field
- Competencies of engineers
- Audits
- Training of engineers
- Managing sites and keeping clients up-to-date
- H&S onsite
- Basic vehicle maintenance & stock
- Work instructions to engineers
- Problem-solving
- Site set up and site stand down as well as housekeeping.
- Planning breaks on 12hrs or 24hrs drivers
- Taking deliveries and off-hiring equipment
- To carry out any reasonable ad hoc request by LMC Managers or the Senior Leadership Team
- Be aware of all Lanes Group policies and your responsibilities towards them

FULL TRAINING GIVEN - Great Opportunity
About you:
The ideal candidate will be hard working and respectful and comply with health and safety standards. Experience in the use of High Pressure Jetting equipment is useful but not essential. Other drainage qualifications (e.g. NRSWA and Confined Spaces) are an advantage.
You must have a minimum of a HGV Class 2 licence, completed the certificate of professional competence (CPC), and have an up to date digi tachograph card.
