Metro Rod work with the likes of Equans, Amey, Aldi, Mitie, Greggs, McDonalds, Wetherspoons and many more in the FM, Social Housing, Property Management, Retail, Industrial and Leisure sectors. We’ve been clearing and unblocking drains for more than thirty years and we’re proud of our reputation for quality service and customer satisfaction. Major companies and leading high street names trust us to deal with all their regular drain maintenance and we’ll bring the same high standards of service to tackle your drain blockage.
Within the Waste & Water Services Division of Franchise Brands, is also Willow Pumps and Filta. Two expanding businesses that focus on sewage pumps and commercial kitchen solutions. Together, the brands provide a complete one-stop shop for keeping water and waste flowing.

What’s involved?
Operating a Variety of Tanker units, you will carry out a range of services associated with the tankers, cleaning, clearance, repair and maintenance of our customer’s drains, whilst delivering an exceptional standard of customer service and technical expertise. Carrying out a range of services associated with the cleaning, clearance, repair, and maintenance of our customers’ drains Operation of High-Pressure Water Jetting Equipment in line with rigorous safety standards Providing an exceptional standard of customer service and technical expertise Accurately recording work/job details via a range of bespoke internal/client systems and apps Communicate effectively with high profile commercial and domestic clients and Metro Rod Support Centre colleagues to ensure excellent customer service is always provided
What do we look for?
Suitable candidates will be able to display a great working attitude together with skills pertaining to the clearance, cleaning and repair of drainage systems.
Experience in Tanker Jetting is essential Clean HGV License Confined space preferable High pressure water jetting experience CSCS preferable Will have a positive, flexible, can-do attitude and willing to work additional hours as needed. Want to be part of an exciting, growing and progressive business with an increasingly formidable brand presence Be willing to work occasional / unsociable hours Hold a full UK driving licence
