About The Role
We are looking for HGV Class 1 or Class 2 drivers to work on a full-time basis for days on our wastewater contract.
Driving a vacuum tanker, the work involves tankering various non-hazardous liquids from sites to disposal facilities across the regions. You will be provided with a phone and an app to outline the jobs assigned to you by the Operations Supervisor.
Due to the nature of this role, you must have:
- A full HGV Class 1 or Class 2 UK drivers’ licence with CPC
- An up-to-date Digi-Tachograph card
Location
📍 Working out of Budds Farm Depot, Southampton – Covering the Hampshire Region
Hours
- 4 nights on, 4 nights off
- 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Salary
£17.00 per hour
Responsibilities

As an HGV Tanker Driver/Technician, your role includes:
- Operating HGV-mounted vacuum and tanker systems for drainage and waste management tasks.
- Independently managing job sites, ensuring safety protocols and high-quality performance.
- Professional communication with customers and site teams.
- Accurately completing job reports and system updates.
- Conducting daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance, reporting faults promptly.
- Maintaining strict health and safety standards, including correct PPE usage and regulatory compliance.

Experience & Qualifications Required
✅ HGV Class 1 or Class 2 licence (valid for UK operations) ✅ Valid and up-to-date CPC ✅ Current Digi-Tachograph card
