We’re looking for skilled **HGV Technicians** to join our **Manchester Depot**, working with our iconic fleet of trucks and waste assets.

## **About the Role**
You’ll be a key player in ensuring our **full fleet operates safely, efficiently, and reliably**, supporting Biffa’s operator license and **DVSA compliance**. With a diverse fleet including **LCVs up to 44t articulated vehicles**, there’s plenty of **opportunity to specialise** and grow your expertise.
To thrive in this role, we need:
- **Technicians** with experience as:
- PSV Mechanic
- Heavy Goods Technician
- Lorry Mechanic
- LGV Technician
- HGV Technician/Mechanic
- **Upskilling SYNERGY** for those with limited experience—or proven ambition in vehicle maintenance.
**Ideal applicant** will have achieved full qualifications such as **City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 HGV/PSV or equivalent apprentice certification**. **Officially recognised IRTEC qualifications** are strongly desirable.

## **Shift Patterns & Budgets**
Your contribution is rewarded with **competitive pay and enticing benefits** supporting your work-life balance:
- **Pay:** £20.59p/h **PLUS** shift allowance **PLUS** £10.00 **tool allowance** per week
- **Shifts:**
- **Earlies:** 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- **Lates:** Mon–Thur 12:30 PM – 10:00 PM, Fri 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM
**Overtime and bank cover call-outs** also available.
This is a **full-time, Monday–Friday** role.

With a fleet spanning vans through to 44-tonne specialist lorries, every role offers learning and development. You’ll play an active part in piping maintenance to sustainability goals while growing your skills—from LGV/PSV mechanics to technicians needing upskilling.
