Job Summary
Pay Rate: £20.59/hour + shift allowance + £10.00 per week tool allowance Shift patterns: 09:00–18:00 (Monday–Friday, 45hrs/week, with occasional Saturdays)

Responsibilities
As an HGV Technician at Biffa, you’ll be responsible for:
- Maintaining & repairing vehicles and waste-handling equipment, ensuring compliance with health & safety legislation and DVSA requirements.
- Carrying out scheduled preventative maintenance & inspections for Biffa’s operator’s licence commitments.
- Working with a diverse fleet, from light commercial vans to 44t articulated specialist assets—perfect for expanding your technical expertise.

Ideal Candidates
We’re looking for skilled or semi-skilled technicians with experience in roles such as: PSV Mechanic | Heavy Goods Technician | Lorry Mechanic | LGV Technician | HGV Technician | HGV Mechanic
We welcome all levels—our team is dedicated to upskilling and career development.
Essential Qualifications
- Fully skilled with a Level 3 HGV/PSV Apprentice Qualification or City & Guilds/NVQ in Vehicle Maintenance.
- At least a passed car/van driving licence (HGV licence is desirable).
- IRTEC Qualification highly valued.
