Salary: Up to £41,496 Basic + Overtime + Excellent Benefits
Hours: Monday to Friday, Full Time

We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Technician to join a busy and growing fleet operation in Edinburgh.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a well-equipped workshop maintaining a diverse fleet of commercial vehicles. You'll be joining a supportive team that places a strong emphasis on quality workmanship, safety, and ongoing professional development.

HGV Technician Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair faults across engine, transmission, braking, suspension, and electrical systems
- Carry out routine servicing, inspections, and preventative maintenance
- Use diagnostic equipment and software to identify and resolve complex vehicle faults
- Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used
- Communicate effectively regarding repair requirements and recommendations
- Ensure the workshop remains clean, safe, and organised
- Keep up to date with the latest vehicle technologies and repair techniques

HGV Technician Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
- Previous experience as an HGV Technician, Commercial Vehicle Technician, or similar
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Experience using modern diagnostic equipment
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A proactive approach and commitment to delivering high-quality work
