Senior Night Trunk Driver (Class 1 / C+E) – North Walsham Depot (Full-Time, Permanent)
About the Role
We are hiring a Class 1 (C+E) night trunk driver at our North Walsham depot due to increased demand. This is a full-time, permanent role with a 12-month fixed commitment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate double deck curtain-side trailers while trunking between North Walsham and Midlands hubs.
- Perform pre-departure walk-around checks and load securing duties.
- Unload upon arrival, wait until offloading is complete, then return to the depot for reloading.
- Shift pattern: 5 nights per week (Monday to Friday), starting between 18:00–20:00 for an approximate 12-hour shift.

Requirements
- Must hold a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) driving licence.
- At least 1 year of goods vehicle driving experience (preferably Driver CPC).
- Night trunking experience is preferred, though not essential.

Salary & Remuneration
- Annual base salary: £40,500/year.
- £10/day tax-free meal allowance (amounting to £50/week).
- Total packaged salary: £42,820/year.
