Job Title: HIAB Operator/Driver
Base Location: Swindon
Salary:
From £25,877 to £27,011.52 depending on skills and experience and working hours - Time Incentive Management (TIM) Bonus Scheme, plus a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.
Working Pattern:
Full Time, Monday Friday 8am-4pm. Overtime there for those who want it

Could you be our next HIAB Operator/Driver?
What will I be doing in this role?
- You'll be working as part of a team undertaking the installation, maintenance and routine work for a full range of highway lighting apparatus including street lighting columns, lanterns, brackets, poles and signs across the Cotswold area.
- This is a physically demanding role which will involve you working outdoors and on public highways, where you'll also hold responsibility for operating a HIAB.
- In a typical day, you could expect to be:
- Installing and maintaining street lighting apparatus and furniture, this could be street lights, signposts or signs
- Ensuring we deliver outstanding service to our clients and the general public
- Working to strict safety guidelines and regulations

What do I need to be successful in the role?
- It would be a benefit if you have an electrical background
- We work in all weathers! So you need to be the type of person who is happy working outdoors all year round.
- We do need you to have a full UK Driving Licence as we cover a wide range of locations
- An HGV Class 2 Licence
- An ALLMI course (The association of lorry loader manufacturers and importers)
Some of our nice to haves are:
- We would look for you to hold IPAF/PASMA working at heights training
- Completion of a G39 Electrical Safety in the planning, installation, commissioning and maintenance of public lighting and other street furniture training Course
- We can however support the right candidate to achieve any level of industry training/qualifications they may not have in the nice to have list
