Hides & Skins Operative – Dunbia Carnaby – 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 7am Start

Dunbia Carnaby is recruiting for Hides & Skins Operatives to assist in the processing of cattle hides and skins. You will be responsible for ensuring hides and skins are trimmed, sorted, graded and salted and preserved for further processing, weighing and grading. Employees must ensure the work area is kept clean and tidy at all times and keep to company Health and safety standards.

Previous experience is not necessary although a strong work ethic is a must. Working hours are Monday to Friday with a 7am start. Flexibility is a requirement as additional hours may be offered to meet customer demand.

Responsibilities
- Trimming, sorting, grading, and preserving hides and skins for further processing
- Chilling, salting, and weighing of hides
- Loading of lorries/dollys/boxes ready for dispatch
- Be comfortable working in a physical and outside environment
- Working to production targets
- Working to company Health and safety processes

Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing production role desirable but not essential as full training will be given
- Working within a fast-paced environment and be able to work to targets
- Communication skills
- Time management
- Must be able to reliably commute to place of work
