Overview

High School Counselor

Location: On-Site | Warminster, PA

Salary: $2338.35 bi-weekly

Schedule: Full time 35 hours/week

  • Be their advocate, confidence builder, and difference maker.
  • Play a critical role in supporting the behavioral, personal, emotional, and social development of students. With our resources and ongoing support, you can be wholly present and do what you love to do: create a safe, supportive, and inclusive school environment that fosters student growth and development.

Responsibilities

As a School Counselor with Catapult Learning, you will:

  • Provide individual counseling with students, consultation services with school staff and parents, classroom developmental guidance lessons.
  • Positively impact students’ educational, behavioral, social, and emotional well-being.
  • Nurture student potential through personalized, small-group, and classroom counseling, focusing on academic, emotional, behavioral, or developmental needs.
  • Empower parents and school staff by connecting them with community resources that align with students' unique needs.
  • Ensure administrative excellence by completing accurate, efficient paperwork.
  • Stay updated on field trends to enhance guidance and support for students.
  • Foster trust and reliability by adhering to the Counseling Policy Manual, funding guidelines, and school procedures.

Qualifications

What we’ll need from you:

  • The positive, enthusiastic school counselor we seek possesses the following qualifications.
  • Master’s degree in counseling or related field.
  • Experience working with elementary students desired.
  • PA Elementary Certified School Counseling Certification
