The company This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced High Touch Trading Developer to join one of the leading digital asset trading firms in the market. What you will do Design and build client-facing trading platforms and connectivity solutions serving institutional clients. Develop real-time trade blotter, P&L analytics and risk dashboards for traders and clients. Build low-latency APIs and WebSocket connections for client order routing and market data distribution. Implement FIX protocol support and custom client connectivity protocols. Develop responsive web UIs (React / Angular) for trading and reporting workflows. Own end-to-end delivery — from client requirements through to production deployment and support. Collaborate with sales engineering and clients to understand needs and drive platform adoption. Monitor system performance and ensure high availability for mission-critical client flows.
What you need: 7+ years of Java development in trading or fintech environments. Strong experience building client-facing trading systems, order management platforms or connectivity solutions. Solid understanding of low-latency systems, concurrency, and performance optimization. Experience with FIX protocol, WebSocket, or other client connectivity protocols. Proficiency with front-end technologies (React, Angular, or equivalent). Hands-on experience with Linux systems and cloud platforms (AWS preferred). Comfortable with real-time data handling, market data feeds and tick analytics. Experience in crypto, digital assets or FX trading is a plus. A right to work in the UK without sponsorship.
