Are you an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) looking for a rewarding new opportunity in Basingstoke this September?
We are recruiting for a passionate and dedicated HLTA to join a specialist educational setting that supports children and young people with additional learning needs. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a genuine difference within a supportive school environment that places student wellbeing, individual development, and achievement at the centre of everything it does.
The school provides a nurturing and structured learning environment where pupils are encouraged to build confidence, independence, and essential life skills. The Role
- Full-time HLTA position
- September start
- £130 per day
- Support teaching and learning across the school
- Deliver planned interventions and small group sessions
- Assist with classroom management and pupil engagement
- Work closely with teaching staff and support teams
- Opportunity to secure a permanent position
About You
- Previous experience working as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant
- Experience supporting children with SEND is desirable
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills
- Passionate about supporting young people to succeed
- Reliable, professional, and adaptable
